PRE APPOINTMENT
Please make sure you have eaten well before you come to our appointment. Any alcohol or drugs in your body will make it hard for me to tattoo you since this could affect the thickness of your blood, so please come sober. Asperin could also have the same effect, so please do NOT take any before you come to me. You are allowed to take paracetamol and/or Ibuprofen before our appointment.
Please do NOT apply tattoo numbing creme. Even though they tell you it is safe to use, there are significant risks that I would prefer to avoid.
Please inform me if you are taking any medication. Sometimes we need the medical advice of a doctor, and it is better to have his way in advance. This also goes for any antibiotics!
With your new tattoo you are not allowed to go swiming, bathing (a quick shower is ok), sunbathing or go to the sauna. Please take this into account when planning your appointment.
Sometimes clients shave the skin before coming to the appointment. I would rather you let me shave you, so that we can prevent any redness or irritation of the skin.
THE DESIGN
I am happy to make you a custom design. It is helpfull to receive photos, sketches or anything that inspires you. I charge 50 or 100 euros (depending on the amount of work) to make you a design. You could also regard this as a down payment. These costs will be deducted from the costs of the tattoo. So when the tattoo costs 150 euros, and you have paid 50 in advance, you only pay 100 before you go home.
I understand you would like to see the design before our appointment. Therefor I do my utmost to send it to you at least a week before our tattoo date. If it needs a little bit of alteration, we still have time to do this in advance. Should we be unable to get to a design that works for the both of us, then I keep the down payment as a compensation for my drawing time.
The down payment can be paid via a betaalverzoekje, through Paypal, or by stopping by the shop to pay in cash.

ABOUT ME
In 2014, I realized what I was meant to do: learn how to tattoo! It took me a few years to see that there is no profession that suits me better than this: what could be more beautiful than creating art on someone's body all day long? I feel incredibly honored and grateful every day that clients place their trust in me.
I find many things exciting to do, but I have a preference for work where I can go wild with color or fine shading. My "handwriting" is often recognizable: it is bold but with a feminine edge. Whether it’s in a flower, a woman’s face, or an animal, I love themes from nature. Not only because I have a deep admiration for them, but also because I’ve noticed they often translate beautifully as tattoos. There seems to be a natural connection when you place it on a human body. A branch of a plant or a swallow's wing can wrap beautifully around an arm.
Since 2024, I have been taking many courses with Botanical Artists Netherlands (BKN). Here, I find depth in capturing the plant world, which brings me immense joy.
With me, alongside the softness in the way I tattoo shadows and colors, you will always see a bit of boldness that I believe a tattoo needs. This is a matter of taste, but sometimes it’s also a technical issue: a tattoo often needs to remain beautiful and legible for another 20, 30 years, maybe longer. This leads me to advise against certain choices—such as making something far too small or detailed.
